Our Thatcham S5 tracker costs £349 including professional fitting, with monitoring charged separately at £10.99/month. At those prices, the first year costs £480.88 in total. The S5 adds Automatic Driver Recognition: a driver tag helps the monitoring service identify movement without an authorised driver.

Monthly payments or prepayment?
Choose to pay monthly or prepay for the available period. With monthly monitoring, the first month is collected at checkout and subsequent payments are set up separately after purchase. Do not add that first payment again when calculating the annual total.
Twelve months at £10.99 is £131.88; three years is £395.64. Our current prepaid options use the same monthly equivalent, so a longer prepaid period does not imply a discount.
What is included in the fitted price?
The S5 package includes the tracking device, driver-recognition equipment and professional installation. Select any additional driver fobs in the product form: the total updates before you add the vehicle to your basket. Monitoring is a separate service.
Keep your driver tag with you when using the vehicle. Keep spare tags secure outside the vehicle; leaving a tag in the glovebox can undermine driver recognition. Follow the supplied instructions for tag use and battery replacement.
Should you choose S5 or S5 Plus?
Our standard S5 provides tracking and driver recognition. Our £449 S5 Plus package adds tag-based “No Tag, No Start” protection. Its first-year total is £580.88 at the current monitoring rate. This is a feature choice, not a promise of an insurance discount.
Start with the exact category or device named by your insurer. If the policy requires S5, an S7 tracker is not a substitute. For an EV or hybrid, ask about vehicle compatibility and the PIN-operated EV/Hybrid package.
